I was born on 18th October, 1970, in Patos de Minas, the town I live in. At college, I studied Brazilian, Portuguese, American and English Literatures. I teach both English and Portuguese to high school students. I’m also a college teacher.
Until 2004, I worked as a DJ in a local radio station. I’ve done this for 15 years. I also worked there as a news writer.
In 2000, I released, by myself, Leve Poesia (the title is a pun in Portuguese, it is dubious, so that it can be understood as something similar to both Light Poetry and Take Poetry). In 2003, also by myself, I released Algo de Sempre (something like As usual), another book of poems. In the local papers, I have published chronicles – many of them can be checked on this page.
I’m interested in photography since adolescence. However, such interest increased when I bought my first digital camera, in 2004. Since then, I’ve also been passionately dealing with the photo craft.
